1. Agreement
1.1 These Terms form a binding agreement between you and the operator of this disposable email service ("we", "us", the "Service"). Creating a mailbox, calling the API, or opening an account means you accept them.
1.2 If you use the Service for an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind that organisation to these Terms.
1.3 If you do not accept these Terms, do not use the Service. Guest mailboxes cost nothing, so there is nothing to refund on that path.
2. The service
2.1 The Service provides temporary email addresses that receive mail, hold it for a limited window, and delete it. It also provides a REST API for creating addresses, listing messages, and reading verification codes programmatically.
2.2 A temporary address is temporary. Retention is enforced by a timer shown in the interface, and there is no archive, no backup, and no recovery path once the timer ends.
2.3 The Service is a receiver. It does not send mail on your behalf, does not relay outbound mail, and does not provide a sending SMTP endpoint.
2.4 Free use needs no account. Paid plans add API volume, longer retention, more live mailboxes, and: on the top tier: custom domains.
3. Acceptable use
3.1 You must not use the Service to:
- receive material that is unlawful in your jurisdiction, or that you have no lawful basis to possess;
- create accounts on third-party services in a way that violates those services' terms, or to evade a ban, a suspension, or a fraud control;
- operate spam, phishing, malware distribution, or credential-harvesting campaigns;
- harass, threaten, defraud, or impersonate a real person;
- probe, scan, overload, or attempt to access mailboxes belonging to another session or account;
- resell raw API capacity without a plan that permits it.
3.2 Automated use is expected and allowed. Automation that degrades the Service for others: mass address creation to exhaust quota, parallel polling far above the documented rate limit: is throttled, and repeated throttling is treated as a breach.
3.3 We may suspend or delete a mailbox or account that breaches this section, and we will state the reason when we do, unless a legal order prevents it.
4. Plans, billing, and cancellation
4.1 Paid plans are billed in advance for the interval shown at checkout and renew automatically until cancelled.
4.2 Prices are stated in the currency shown at checkout. Where tax applies, it is added at checkout and itemised on the invoice.
4.3 You can cancel at any time from the account page. Cancellation stops the next renewal; the current period runs to its end and the plan stays active until then.
4.4 Fees already paid are non-refundable except where the law in your jurisdiction requires a refund, or where the Service was unavailable for a sustained period and you ask within 14 days.
4.5 If a payment fails, we retry and notify you. If payment is not completed within 7 days, the account reverts to the free tier; mailboxes above the free quota expire on the normal timer.
4.6 Downgrading does not retroactively shorten an active retention window, but new mailboxes created afterwards follow the lower tier.
5. Quotas and fair use
5.1 Each plan defines the number of live mailboxes, the retention window, and the API call volume. The numbers on the pricing page are the numbers enforced by the API.
5.2 Exceeding a quota returns a typed error, not a silent failure. Address creation above the quota returns a quota error; polling above the rate limit returns a rate-limit error with a retry hint.
5.3 Attachments are capped per message. A message above the cap is rejected at the SMTP stage, which means the sender sees a bounce: the Service cannot accept what it cannot store.
5.4 Storage is per mailbox. Deleting a mailbox frees its slot immediately.
6. Your responsibilities
6.1 You are responsible for the credentials on your account and for every API call made with your key. Rotate a key immediately if it leaks.
6.2 Never use a temporary address for anything you need to keep: banking, government correspondence, tax, medical records, or account recovery for a service you depend on.
6.3 Do not paste a verification code from a temporary address into a service you intend to keep long-term. Addresses expire, and the service that sent the code cannot resend to a mailbox that no longer exists.
6.4 Keep your own copy of anything in a temporary inbox that matters. Forwarding or downloading the raw source before the timer ends is the only retention guarantee the Service offers.
7. Delivery is best effort
7.1 Email delivery is not guaranteed. A sending server may refuse to deliver to a disposable domain, apply its own filtering, or drop the message before it reaches us.
7.2 Some large services block known disposable domains outright. If a form rejects an address, the solution is a new mailbox on a different domain, not a support ticket: we cannot force a third party to accept a domain.
7.3 Where a message is accepted, it is stored intact and served writable only to the session that owns the mailbox.
8. Availability and changes
8.1 We aim for continuous availability and give notice of planned maintenance when we can. The Service is provided without an uptime warranty on the free tier.
8.2 Features may change. A change that materially reduces what a paid plan includes is announced before it takes effect, and you may cancel before the next renewal.
8.3 We may modify these Terms. The new version takes effect when published, and continued use after that date is acceptance. The effective date and version at the top of this page identify the current text.
9. Disclaimer and liability
9.1 The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
9.2 To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, nor for lost messages, missed verification codes, lost profits, or loss of data arising from the expiry of a mailbox.
9.3 Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. On the free tier that amount is zero.
9.4 Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Termination and governing law
10.1 You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from the account page. Deleting an account deletes its mailboxes and its account data, subject to invoice retention required by tax law.
10.2 We may terminate or suspend access for a material breach of these Terms, for non-payment, or where required by law. Where practical we give notice and a chance to cure.
10.3 These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the operator is established, and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to consumer protections you may have where you live.
10.4 If a provision is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
